Job Description

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
The accounts clerk is responsible to keep proper track of invoices, fuel report, GL entries to record proper expenses, visit locations to ensure procedures are being adhered to.

• Receive, verify and log all invoices from various locations.
• Keep track of fuel usage and provide month end report.
• Reverse all Issues and clearances and provide proper details for expenses.
• Visit locations to ensure procedures are being maintained.
• Send out monthly customer statements.
• Cross train with other positions within the department.
• Hold over for various positions within the department should be expected in absence of personnel.

Minimum Job Requirements:
Education: Associate degree in business or accounting an advantage
Experience: 1 – 3 years experience in clerical accounting

Knowledge and Skills:
• Microsoft Excel and knowledge of accounting software
• Knowledge of generally accepted accounting and bookkeeping principles and procedures
• Attention to detail
• Problem-solving
• Communication skills
• Planning and organizing
