Job Description

A baker’s primary role is to meet the day’s production goals for baked goods. For a bread baker, that means preparing the dough, letting them rise, shaping them, proofing them, and finally baking and cooling them. Pastry bakers prepare or thaw their dough, then shape and fill them as needed.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Form dough or batter by hand or using electric mixer.
• Makes breads for the kitchen including _; burger, sandwich, loaf, etc.
• Check desserts availability and make is necessary fallowing the right recipe
• Prepare sauces, compotas, chocolate, whipped cream, garnish fordesserts
• Spreads or sprinkles topping, such as jelly, cinnamon, and poppy seeds on specialties.
• Prepare picnic menu Items
• Prepare Bar snacks menu items
• Prepare the dinner rolls for the night or flat bread for everynight
• Prepare flavoured butter, hummus, and tapenade for rotation bread option at night
• May bake pies, cakes, cookies, and other pastries.
• Leave dough for baked good in the morning
• Prepare baguettes for morning continental
• May be designated according to specialty baked as Baker, Biscuit; Hot-Bread Baker; Rolls Baker; or according to shift worked as Night Baker.
