Job Description

Job Objective:
The Sales Specialist works as part of the Sales Team and is responsible for providing our customers with outstanding customer service while meeting and/or exceeding sales and customer service goals.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
• Foster a close and long term working relationship with our customers.
• Responsible for communicating with customers daily by promoting our products and services.
• Analyze quotations provided and conduct follow-up calls to customers with the aim our closing and growing sales.
• Assist with quotations where necessary, especially as relates to bids/projects.
• Analyze new business opportunities and collaborate with the sales team for a strategic approach.
• Evaluate sales performance by department and take proactive approaches to target specific opportunities, especially those which are seasonal and/or one time.
• Provide after sales support to customers in ensuring satisfaction of overall level of service provided.
• Responsible for monitoring and working with the sales team in meeting individual and team established targets for sales and service.
• Work closely with the sales team in ensuring that our full range of products and services is being offered.
• Conduct surveys on service levels and new product opportunities.
• Be prepared to travel with sales team or department heads in seeking out sales opportunities.
• Be a lead in promoting a high level of service that will translate into our goals being met.
• Adherence to our policy on Ethics and Integrity

Reporting
• Provide a weekly update on open and closed quotations
• Highlight weekly the status of key opportunities
• Update daily salesperson target by department.
• Highlight weekly any opportunities for improvement of our level of product or service being provided.

Minimum Job Requirements:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field.
Experience: Minimum of 3 years working experience in a fast paced, customer service/sales driven environment.
