Job Description

Key Duties & Responsibilities
• Assist walk-in customers with purchases by recommending items and/or making appropriate substitutions for items not in stock; assist with any orders, queries or questions they may need.
• Maintain a daily positive, stable, amicable disposition towards the job, fellow staff and customers.
• Exercise effective positive interdepartmental communication, especially when relaying information about customer’s orders or messages.
• Ensure shelves are properly stocked, cleaned, organized and labeled at all times.
• Rearrange shelves in a logical manner so as to display items more vividly and effectively.
• Ensure that an order is done completely and correctly.
• Assist cashiers with proper labeling of boxes or bags to be delivered to customers.
• Provide verbal or written price quotations to walk-in customers, and/or co-workers.
• Assists with cycle counts on different houses etc. when necessary
• Assist in other areas when necessary by becoming backup for other co-workers when they are sick or on vacation.
• Assist with setting up of items display in the store
