Job Description

Primary Function:
Provides assistance in the administration of Human Resources policies, programs and procedures. Assists in reinforcing practices and objectives that will encourage an employee-oriented, high performance culture that emphasizes empowerment, high quality standards, goal attainments, and the recruitment and development of a superior workforce.
Duties & Responsibilities Summary:
• Provide professional and timely customer service to internal customers by interpreting HR policies and procedures, advising and counselling employees about bank’s various benefits programs, following up on employee requests and addressing all employee queries.
• Process, verify, and maintain personnel related documentation, including staffing, recruitment, training, grievances, classifications, earnings, performance, leaves of absence, and separations.
• Assist the Human Resource Manager with the administration of the day-to-day operations of the various statutory and company benefit programs.
• Assist the Human Resource Manager with the accurate processing and recording of company’s payroll and provide timely and accurate financial information.
• Keeps apprised of all applicable laws and regulations relating to employment.
• Adheres to laws and regulations including Anti Money Laundering, Anti-Terrorism and KYC regulations and complies with all Bank policies and procedures.
• Any other duties assigned from time to time.

Preferred: • Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field • 1+ year of recent and successful employment experience relevant field Salary is based on National Bank of Belize Salary Structure.
